Apostilles (legalisation) - overview of countries

The apostille treaty (signed in 1961 in The Hague) is an international agreement between countries to... legalisation by official documents to simplify. The treaty means that the apostille is the only form required legalisation, if the documents are used in the countries that have signed the treaty.

The apostille itself is a stamp of the court that certifies that your document is authentic, allowing it to be used legally in international document traffic.
